Join us on a unique Winter Wildlife Retreat! Experience Yellowstone National Park and connect with other women who enjoy the outdoors and adventure. This ladies retreat is in the breathtaking wilderness of Yellowstone National Park. Experience the tranquility and beauty of nature while indulging in adventure and sisterhood.
Throughout this retreat, you will have the opportunity to photograph bison, elk, mule deer, coyotes, bighorn sheep, wolves all while traveling through pristine landscapes.
Let us share the hidden wonders of the park, showcasing its stunning vistas and magic of winter. Evening gatherings will provide opportunities for reflection and connection around a cozy fire, where stories can be shared and lasting friendships forged.
Don’t miss this chance to create unforgettable memories in one of America's most iconic national parks. This is a photography retreat but we encourage all adventurous ladies to join us.
Retreat Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Bozeman Airport (BZN) - Your guide will pick up all guests at the airport. Once all guests have arrived, we’ll begin our trip to Gardiner. We’ll have some introductions during the drive; anticipate travel approximately 1.5HRS.
Upon arrival, guests will have room assignments and an opportunity to run into the local grocery store for any grocery/personal items needed.
Additionally, we’ll have a special guest on our first night, Deborah Ludwig, of Slow Burn Designs, to build your own custom hat. We’ll take this time to complete introductions and discuss the week's events.
Day 2: Have morning to review equipment, set intentions and receive instructional guidance (cheat sheets/settings/etc) on camera setting/lighting, and review editing apps.
Departure time will be: 1pm/after lunch
Day 3: Travel to Mammoth Hotel for a full day on a private snow coach, exploring the interior of the park. This is planned to be a 10HR day.
Departure time will be: 6:30AM
Day 4: Travel into the park, via Lamar Valley, headed to Cooke City (East Entrance) to photograph landscapes and wildlife. If there were specific spots you’d like to spend more time in, this would be a good time to do it.

After dinner we’ll head to the Yellowstone Hot Springs Resort and enjoy an evening in the natural mineral water pools. There’s also the option to cold plunge.
Day 6: Check out is at 10AM. We will promptly return to Bozeman.
Meal Planning:
You will be provided dinner on the day of arrival and breakfast on your departure day. During your stay, you will be provided breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will have the opportunity to stop at the local grocery store for you to purchase any snacks, beverages, or alcoholic items.

Travel Information:
Closest airport is Bozeman BZN International Airport (about 1 hour and a half) from Yellowstone National Park.
Arriving Flights: Please schedule your arrival between 7AM and 1PM. Once the last guest has arrived, we’ll promptly head to Gardiner.
Departing Flights: Please book departing flights after 2PM. We’ll leave Gardiner, promptly, by 10AM; plan for 1.5HRS of travel back to the airport.

A detailed packing list will be sent out, upon payment of your deposit. Things to consider, pack anything to help keep you warm and comfortable in winter weather: prepare for colder temps and wind.

Camera Rentals:
Camera rentals are available for anyone who is interested for an additional fee. This fee can be added at check out. Camera rentals include a Sony A7III and a Sony 200-600mm Lens.
Deposit:
A *deposit of $1,250 will hold your place in the retreat. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the retreat*. Deposit is non refundable unless your spot is filled, in which case it will be refunded. This same policy applies to the full tuition after it is paid. No Exceptions.
Special Notes:
Please note that we will be hiking away from the car/road, so you must be able to carry your camera equipment and be able bodied to hike on muddy trails and rocky areas. The weather in Montana is unpredictable and this will dictate what the wildlife will do and the road conditions throughout the fall/winter.
